Your goal in each puzzle is to chase a creature into a trap. Adds classic mechanics like spikes, switches, and doors, but finds interesting things to do with them because of the way movement works. Altered - Grid-based block pusher that explores a few characters with particularly unique ways of moving.Has some spooky bits (in fact, I was scared even when I didn't need to be - but I quite enjoy that!) The environment design and everything is as great as ever. Puzzles are very satisfying to figure out. Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye - DLC that's just as great as the main game.Very solid puzzle design from the creator of Pipe Push Paradise and many puzzles contributed by Draknek (of A Monster's Expedition, A Good Snowman.). Fascinating mechanics introduced along the way. Bonfire Peaks - Ascend a mountain, burning your belongings as you go.As a heads-up, there are still a few days left on the Steam Lunar New Year Sale, FWIW.

Feel free to include other games that aren't traditionally considered puzzle games but you feel can be classified as such, as long as you can justify it. I'm also going to include detective/ mystery games such as Return of the Obra Dinn and Outer Wilds that don't necessarily have many in-game puzzles, but require you to figure out what happened/ what's going on by connecting the picture based on various little clues you find, so that the whole game feels like one giant puzzle. I would include typical point & click adventure games (or similar games that utilize keyboard/ gamepad controls) as their gameplay consist mostly of puzzles. I'm going to be loose with the term 'puzzle game' here. It's also fine to just name a game without elaborating, but feel free to describe it a little, especially useful stuff they don't mention on the store page, so long as you don't put spoilers! Don't be shy to list games that others have already mentioned as long as they are your favourites, as this isn't really a recommendation thread, but perhaps you could do away with the description unless you have new points to add. You can list as many games as you want, even just one. It can be a video game on any platform, including mobile, and even free games count. It's fine if you only played it this year, and it's okay if you haven't beaten the game as long as you've played enough of it to consider it a favourite.
